Job summary

Woodbridge is seeking a Recreation Leader-Youth Leader to create a safe, engaging environment for youth during after-school programs. You will model positive behavior and support development through structured activities, mentorship, and inclusive opportunities, with hours 3pm-6pm, Monday through Friday.

Minimum qualifications include effective communication with youth, parents, and staff, plus First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of program spaces and equipment before and after activities.

The Recreation Leader-Youth Leader plays a pivotal role in fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for young individuals to explore recreational activities and develop social skills. The Recreation Leader-Youth Leader will serve as a positive role model, encouraging personal growth, responsibility, and healthy lifestyle choices among youth. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the overall well-being and development of young people through structured recreational opportunities and supportive mentorship. This position will have flexible days Monday-Friday and the hours are 3pm-6pm.
