City and County of Denver’s Parks and Recreation department seeks MY Denver Recreation Instructors to lead, plan, and deliver organized youth activities across multiple centers. This on-call, part-time role offers flexible year-round scheduling, typically 20-30 hours weekly, with core hours 2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

Formación

• Graduation from high school or GED/HiSET/TASC.
• One year of experience assisting in organized recreation activities.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license at time of application; may be required to drive city vehicles.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement activities in five core categories for youth aged 8-18.
• Manage admin tasks: emails, monthly calendars, attendance, and reports.
• Shop for supplies within a monthly budget.
• Develop connections with youth, parents, and staff.
• Attend meetings up to three times monthly.
• Assist with seasonal programming events as needed.
