Sasha Bruce Youthwork in Washington, DC seeks a Supervisory Youth Engagement Specialist (YES) to supervise residents, provide counseling, and support crisis intervention. The role reports to the REACH Program Manager and requires supervising staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring safety and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in social services or 3–5 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license to operate agency vehicles in DC.

Formación

• Degree in social service or related field is recommended but 3–5 years experience may be considered.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to obtain DC clearances.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site supervision of residents and maintain professional boundaries.
• Lead planning and direct support for recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Provide crisis intervention and on-site counseling; assist with de-escalation.
• Training and coaching for REACH staff and YES staff.
• Ensure regular house checks, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive logs and reports; complete audits and QA paperwork.
• Support coverage during staff shortages and assist with staff crises.
