Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) at Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR is seeking a dedicated staff member to support student personnel functions and ensure compliant, quality youth services.

You will manage discipline, behavioral adjustment systems, and incident handling in line with government directives, collaborating with center staff to promote positive youth development and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of related experience.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization & recordkeeping.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
• Determine and administer disciplinary action for students who have violated rules and regulations; counsel students when their behavior on or off-center is not appropriate.
• Coordinate and monitor review board and peer court functions and actions.
• Coordinate student discipline with other center staff and maintain documentation of records and reports on activities.
• Supervise SGA, which includes maintaining communication with administration, schedule and supervise meetings, and guide development of skills of student government.
