Job summary

The Program Specialist at Kids for the Future oversees the implementation of BGCA and other approved programs targeted primarily for school-age children and teens. The P.S.

ensures staffing, training, and support at designated Club sites, and leads curriculum development and outcome management. Responsibilities include designing a compelling extracurricular program with field trips, coordinating activities with staff and partners, and promoting participation while ensuring safety and measurable

Qualifications

• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate all programs aligned with BGCCI mission and measurable outcomes.
• Assure proper staffing of all programs, including ratios for adult supervision as provided by BGCCI.
• Provides positive guidance, discipline and role modeling to members at all times.
• Schedules activities and/or program partners for Club site that provides equitable participation.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements field trip activities for hands-on educational experiences for Club members.
• Promotes and stimulates program participation, recruits new members, and participates in new member orientation process.
• Provides for safety and health of all Club members, staff, and outside groups.
• Ensure productive performance by all program staff and volunteers.
