Job summary
AmeriCorps State / National seeks a Youth Program Development & Outdoor Learning Specialist to expand James 4-H Camp’s capacity for safe, engaging educational experiences for Arizona youth. Become part of a team collaborating with camp staff, university personnel, volunteers, and partners to strengthen programming and facilities.

Qualifications
- Some college education or equivalent
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and hike 5 miles
- Commitment to youth program development and safety
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver memorable youth programs.
- Build a youth-program inventory system.
- Lead program-evaluation implementation.
- Improve camp learning spaces.
- Strengthen volunteer engagement.
- Connect the camp with its communities.
- Help bring a youth challenge course to life.
- Help shape future youth shooting sports opportunities.
- Support and deliver direct program service including orientation, instruction, and support to youth, staff, and volunteers.
- Ensure camper, staff, and volunteer safety at waterfront, challenge course, hiking, archery range, and activity areas.
- Serve on the Program Specialist Team to develop camp programming and plan events.
