Job summary

The City of Greenacres seeks a youth program supervisor to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in Leadership, Health & Wellness, and recreation. You will ensure programming complies with state and county regulations and maintain safety and attendance records.

Responsibilities include leading games and crafts, developing lesson plans, coordinating field trips, managing staff schedules, and supporting outreach events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of youth work preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification within six months of employment.
• Ability to meet DCF background and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and leads various games, activities, programs, arts and crafts, etc.
• Develops, implements, and executes lesson plans and new activities.
• Ensures that safety procedures and Health Department guidelines are followed.
• Assists with planning and implementation of the monthly activity schedule.
• Maintains accurate attendance records, discipline forms, accident reports, medication log, and other required paperwork.
• Assists with front office /sign out coverage as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
