Job summary

Ducks Unlimited seeks a program lead to oversee Region 5 youth programs (Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri), grow Varsity membership, and promote DU TRAP and collegiate engagement initiatives. You will recruit volunteers, build partnerships with State Youth Engagement Chairs and NGOs, and travel to meetings or DU offices as required while coordinating from home.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree is required.
• Volunteer experience with Ducks Unlimited beneficial.
• Experience in education or R3 programs beneficial.
• Outstanding communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to persuasively convey Ducks Unlimited mission.
• Proficiency in standard computer programs.
• Must reside or relocate to central Missouri and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Region 5 youth programs incl. IA, IL, IN, MO.
• Grow Varsity membership through engagement with youth shooting sports and the FFA
• Promote DU TRAP program to youth shooting sports teams
• Promote DU's R3 programs with state partners and NGOs to increase youth shooting and hunting participation
• Recruit new Varsity high school chapters and volunteers
• Increase awareness of the Ducks University collegiate program
• Assist in recruiting volunteers and members into existing collegiate chapters
• Build and maintain relationships with State Youth Engagement Chairs
• Promote Ducks Unlimited's youth engagement programs
• Travel as required and attend meetings or conduct business at a DU office or designated location when reasonably notified
