Job summary

Arc Experience provides before and after school programs for youth in Southern California. The Assistant Site Coordinator works directly with students and supports the Site Coordinator with leadership and administrative tasks, including lesson plans, attendance, and grant compliance.

This part-time, non-exempt role emphasizes safety, positive behavior, and enrichment activities, with opportunities to lead clubs (career readiness, cooking, arts) and grow within the company; bilingual candidates

Qualifications

At least 2 years in after-school programs or youth recreation.
Ability to talk to kids and parents comfortably.
College credits verification or proficiency exam.
TB test and Live Scan background check required.
Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required.

Responsibilities

Assist the Site Coordinator as second point of contact for parents and administrators.
Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior.
Coordinate and lead indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
Attend trainings and staff meetings on safety and program management.
Facilitate sign-up procedures to ensure accurate attendance tracking.
Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
Organize activities including homework help, games, arts and crafts.
