Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a Child Watch Instructor for the French Creek YMCA in Avon, Ohio. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, engage with families, and maintain a safe, welcoming program space for members and participants.

Requirements include 1 year of youth programming experience, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, and babysitter certification if under 18; candidates must be at least 16. Join a team devoted to healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year youth programming experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
• Red Cross Babysitter Certification if under 18.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities in advance and come prepared with materials and attire.
• Develop and maintain positive rapport with youth and parents.
• Keep the program area safe, clean, and properly arranged.
• Relate effectively to diverse groups from all backgrounds.
• Follow safety procedures and YMCA standards at all times.
• Assist with family nights and pathways activities as assigned.
