Job summary

Ottawa County seeks a qualified professional to support the development and delivery of individualized treatment programs for court-involved youth. The role includes facilitating group sessions, overseeing Day Treatment operations, and coordinating court-ordered services across community settings.

Travel throughout the county is expected; the position may be assigned to the Juvenile Detention Center as needed. A valid driver's license and related certifications are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology or a related field with two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment teams to develop and deliver individualized treatment and behavior intervention programs for court-involved youth.
• Facilitates and co-facilitates group programming, life skills groups, cognitive-behavioral interventions, and court-ordered treatment groups.
• Transports youth to and from court-ordered programming, treatment services, school placements, and community-based activities.
• Coordinates and monitors the Juvenile Court’s surveillance and tether program, including enrollment, installation/removal, and documentation in YouthCenter.
