Job summary

Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to greet members and guests and provide information at the Champaign site. This part-time hourly role runs from 1pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday, supporting program operations and ensuring a welcoming, well-organized front desk environment.

Responsibilities include member check-in, attendance reporting, phone coverage, and professional communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience; school/youth-serving background preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Experience with office equipment and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and volunteers and provide information.
• Check in members using the member database and verify membership.
• Release members to authorized parties after confirming identity.
• Prepare attendance and daily service reports for program staff.
• Answer incoming calls and take messages as needed.
• Communicate with parents, members and staff as directed by leadership.
• Monitor facility access to maintain safety and security.
• Maintain a clean and orderly front desk area.
• Monitor supplies and submit requisitions as requested by Program Leadership.
