Job summary

YMCA of the Inland Northwest seeks a Youth Development Coordinator to oversee the Child Watch and Family Activity Center, ensuring safe, engaging activities for youth and families. You will supervise staff, drive program improvements, and partner with the Youth Development Director on events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with children 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Ability to lead, coach and build relationships with staff, parents and children.
• Management and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and YMCA trainings.

Responsibilities

• Directs Child Watch, Youth Enrichment and Family Activity Center operations.
• Develops programs engaging youth and families and drives improvement.
• Ensures programs are mission-driven and safety policies are followed.
• Recruit and supervise staff; manage training, staffing and performance.
• Maintain attendance logs and ensure participant engagement.
• Oversee supplies, equipment and repairs; assist special events.
