Job summary

Talent Leverage is seeking a Branch Director to oversee the Outreach Branch in Washington, DC. The role focuses on program delivery, staff supervision and community partnerships to advance youth development and organizational goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, facilities coordination, recruitment and staff development, plus building relationships with parents and community leaders to expand participation and public visibility.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years work experience in a Boys and Girls Club or similar organization
• Ability to supervise personnel and facilities and recruit staff
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to engage with youth, parents and community leaders
• Budget planning and management knowledge
• Fundraising event skills
• Ability to travel between locations and work outside regular hours

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages daily operations of the Outreach Branch.
• Oversees staff supervision, training and development.
• Develops partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations.
• Manages budgets and administrative systems.
• Public relations and recruitment to raise visibility and participation.
• Plans and coordinates events across departments.
• Disciplinary guidance and member relations.
• Plans for facilities management and use by outside groups.
• Travel to locations as needed.
