Job summary

The Meadowood Neighborhood Center Supervisor role is with the Madison Metropolitan School District (MSCR). You will develop and oversee year-round K-12 programs, supervise a team of seasonal staff, and manage budgets while building strong community partnerships at the Meadowood Center.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm, with occasional evenings and weekends. You will collaborate with MMSD schools and community partners to deliver engaging youth programs in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least two years of post high school education in recreation, education, community organizing, volunteer coordination, related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in recreation, education, community organizing, volunteer coordination, or related fields
• Experience in developing, managing, leading, and evaluating recreation programs, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities

Responsibilities

• Youth Program Management: Develop, implement and supervise K-12 after school and summer programs, and evening youth and family enrichment programs and special events
• Staff Recruiting & Oversight: Recruit seasonal program leaders, specialty instructors, coaches and volunteers; hire and evaluate staff
• Program Monitoring & Support: Track participation statistics and manage site budget, purchase supplies, ensure policy compliance
• Neighborhood Center Support: Plan programs, coordinate facility use, build partnerships with community agencies
• Other Duties: Attend district events and complete required trainings; build relationships with partners
