Job summary

The Salvation Army Augusta Kroc Center is seeking a dedicated Program Supervisor to lead creative arts and youth programs, including Child Watch, Kroc Camps, and After School activities. You will develop curricula, plan age-appropriate lessons, and train staff to deliver engaging activities while prioritizing safety and positive client interactions.

You will oversee program operations, ensure program quality, and contribute to member retention through top-notch youth services in a busy childcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Three years’ experience supervising a children’s program; proficient with Windows & Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Equivalent training/experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and oversees the activities of creative arts programs with art, education, recreation and music at the core.
• Develop, implement and manage curriculums and activities for Child Watch, Kroc Camps, and After School programs.
• Create lesson plans age-group specific and utilize age-appropriate discovery areas and hands-on activities.
• Provide training to staff to carry out curricula and activities with emphasis on positive customer service for members, participants and guests.
• Ensure safety and protection of members through staff training, policy enforcement, and National Kroc Standards.
• Assist in member retention through high quality and safe youth services.
