Job summary

Department of Military Affairs in Florida seeks a Program Consultant to coordinate the Child & Youth Services program for National Guard dependents aged 6–18. You will manage events, logistics, and community outreach across the state.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of youth program coordination experience, with background check clearance. Position is located in St. Augustine, FL and offers traditional state benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
One year of professional, full-time-equivalent experience in coordinating youth programs or related field.
Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check background investigation clearance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Child & Youth Program Coordinator responsible for day-to-day operations and youth development events.
Execute CYS events, manage site logistics, contracts, transportation, and training materials.
Coordinate with the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program to support youth programming.
Assist in building local, state, and federal networks to support youth.
Recruit and train volunteers; track hours and background checks; ensure compliance.
