Job summary

Bgclawco is seeking a part-time program assistant for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County. You will support homework help, coordinate Indiana Kids activities, and help deliver after-school programming with a positive, engaging approach.

You will greet and supervise youth, collect attendance in MyClubHub, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and families to maintain a safe, motivating Club experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service (computers, software, phone, and data management) required.
• Experience in youth development, education, or recreation (coaching).
• Strong communication with families, staff, volunteers, and supporters— in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; maintain organized electronic files.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist after-school homework and Indiana Kids program activities.
• Supervise club members per policies and procedures.
• Enter attendance into MyClubHub system and manage data.
• Provide information in-person and via phone/email.
• Maintain tidy common areas and ensure a safe club environment.
