Global Kids, Inc. is seeking a capable Assistant Contract Coordinator to support contract management and career/workforce readiness for youth at Transit Tech High School in Brooklyn, NY.

The role emphasizes data integrity, school partnerships, and program supervision. Ideal candidates have deep experience in youth development, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to social justice and global education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of professional experience preferred.
• Experience with NYC DOE policies and protocols.
• Experience with youth and interactive learning in culturally diverse settings.
• Experience in community organizing/outreach.
• Knowledge of NYC social service resources for youth and families.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing teams.
• Experience managing large contracts.
• Experience in school-based settings with community organizing, student support, and youth development.
• Ability to collaborate with school admins, teachers, and community partners.
• Commitment to antiracist pedagogy and diverse settings.
• Knowledge of global issues, political science, history, education, and social activism.
• Excellent facilitation, consensus-building, interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, creativity, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong communication, writing, organizational and technology skills.
• Fluency in other languages is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with Site Director to manage school-based GK staff and supervise tasks.
• Develop relationships with NYC DOE teachers, parents and students via School Cabinet and SLT.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop High School initiatives.
• Ensure safe programming with school staff.
• Broker new partnerships aligned with school goals.
• Navigate resources and build relationships with participants, parents, staff, other CBOs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including students, families, staff, program partners.
• Assist with data management and weekly audit.
• Collect and maintain enrollment forms and EO documents.
• Prepare data for outcomes evaluation.
• Identify needs of chronically absent students and track interventions.
• Attend provider meetings; trainings; contact DYCD Program Manager.
• Link school day to extended day learning and after-school programs.
• Coordinate and co-facilitate workshops for GK's programs.
• Organize events and attend citywide GK events.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Liaison with DYCD Central Validation Unit and EO departments.
• Maintain records securely
• Enter data into funder database systems in a timely manner
• Follow GK fiscal procedures
• Collaborate with Case Manager for quarterly program claims
• Manage caseload of students and job placements
• Inform staff of changes to guidelines
