Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or two years of college plus three years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate the out of school time program to meet enrollment goals.
• Design and implement curriculums for students and/or parents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NYC DOH, NYC DYCD and NYS OCFS.
• Collaborate with school administration daily.
• Coordinate assignments to Group leaders, Counselors and other staff.
• Order, prepare and maintain needed materials for daily operation.
• Represent the program manager and agency professionally in school, community, agency and public forums.
• Plan special projects and events and focus on community service and connectivity.
• Maintain policies and procedures to ensure safety and well-being of children; ensure respectful communication with parents, staff and school staff.
• Assist in attendance and participant data related to program/funder/agency requirements.
• Assist in screening, hiring, leading, training and evaluation of staff.
• Help plan staff orientations and trainings to meet regulatory standards.
