Job summary

City of Boise is seeking a part-time youth supervisor to oversee afterschool activities in Boise. You will supervise youth and staff, ensure safety, and lead indoor and outdoor games.

Responsibilities include preparing craft materials, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with the supervisor. A valid First Aid/CPR certification, 1 year of youth supervision experience, and a valid Idaho driver’s license are required. Afternoons/evenings and some weekends may be involved.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Word and Excel and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of all participants and staff.
• Engage youths in indoor and outdoor activities such as basketball, tag and tetherball.
• Prepare materials and supplies for youth arts and crafts projects.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are in good working order and report repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
