Job summary

Armed Services YMCA El Paso seeks a Child and Youth Program Assistant Supervisory to provide supervised childcare for ages 5–12 and lead ASYMCA Child and Youth Professionals. You will implement activities, ensure safety, communicate with parents, and maintain documentation while adhering to policies and state laws.

This role requires strong supervision skills, relevant certifications, and a commitment to youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; English literacy required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• 48 hours training or equivalent DoD C&Y modules or post-secondary credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for children and youth 5–12 years old.
• Lead and supervise staff and volunteers; support performance evaluations.
• Prepare, arrange, and maintain activity areas and materials; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate with parents and provide feedback on child progress and program activities.
