JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Conferences and Institutes is seeking Youth Program Leaders for Mining Rocks Camp, scheduled for July 20-25, 2025.

Youth Program Leaders are responsible for the 24-hour supervision and safety of minors participating in this program. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of daily program administration, such as youth compliance policies, emergency response, communication with the Program Director and Manager, medication handling, and oversight of health information. They may also assist with developing instructional content and delivering lessons and activities.

Leaders must constantly monitor the safety, whereabouts, and actions of participants, including non-instructional times. They should be able to identify and respond to behavioral, mental health, and acclimation issues, acting quickly and calmly, handling sensitive information, and following notification protocols.

Three clearances are required for this position:

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI Criminal Background Check
