Job summary

Hanover Township Youth and Family Services is seeking a Full-Time Prevention & Volunteer Coordinator. The role oversees the Alternative Supports Program and Izaak Walton Youth Center teen activities, and works with the Prevention Specialist to develop outreach and prevention programs using positive youth development and restorative practices.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of $51,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package including major medical coverage,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Services or related field.
• One year of program planning or volunteer management experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with utilizing an electronic records system.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Alternative Supports Program and the Izaak Walton Youth Center teen activities.
• Develop outreach and prevention programs utilizing positive youth development and restorative practices.
• Coordinate the volunteer programs for the department.
• Collaborate with school providers and community groups to meet program goals.
• Support students who are at risk through development of positive alternatives.
