Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is hiring a Playcenter Attendant at the Covington Family YMCA. You will supervise and engage children ages three months to twelve years, ensuring safety and providing a positive, supportive environment for play and learning.

Responsibilities include leading activities, maintaining clean, safe spaces, communicating with parents, and supporting branch programs while upholding YMCA policies and values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with youth experience.
• CPR certification within 30 days of starting.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging supervision for children aged 3 months to 12 years.
• Lead activities and maintain daily hygiene and safety standards.
• Communicate with parents about activities and health concerns.
• Maintain accurate check-in/check-out records.
