Job summary

Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center in Alabama seeks a candidate with lived experience in mental health to work with teens and young adults (ages 10–21) in our clinical services. You will collaborate with the clinical team leader to implement treatment and foster hope, resilience, and self-advocacy in young people and their families.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record, and the ability to share personal experiences

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Personal experience with mental health as a child/adolescent is required.
• Proficiency in Word and Outlook, and typing 40+ wpm.

Responsibilities

• Work with teens and young adults (ages 10–21) enrolled in clinical services.
• Collaborate with the clinical team leader to implement treatment plans for patients and families.
