Job summary

West Park YMCA in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Pathways Instructor to plan and deliver engaging youth activities within our Pathways program and support family nights.

You will work with members and participants, ensure safety, follow YMCA standards, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Requirements include minimum 1 year youth programming experience, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, babysitter certification if under 18, and being at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year youth programming experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Red Cross Babysitter Certification if under 18.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities in pathways in advance and deliver age-appropriate programs.
• Assist with family nights and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
• Develop positive rapport with youth and parents and adhere to YMCA standards.
• Follow safety procedures and demonstrate commitment to the YMCA mission.
