Job summary

First Odessa in Odessa, TX, is seeking a Youth Pastor to lead a growing student ministry with a strong volunteer base. You will teach Scripture, disciple students, and equip volunteers while building a ministry culture that is vibrant and enduring.

This full-time role involves planning retreats, partnering with parents, and engaging local schools. A Bachelor’s degree is required and an M.Div. or theological training is preferred. Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; M.Div. or theological training preferred.
• A biblically faithful, Spirit-led teacher who communicates truth clearly.
• Experience in student ministry or youth leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly student gatherings and small groups.
• Teach scripture-centered messages relevant to teens.
• Develop a strong small group culture with spiritual growth.
• Provide pastoral care to students and families.
• Mentor students toward lifelong faith and service.
• Partner with parents as primary disciplers.
