Program Overview
The Youth Crisis Outreach Team Plus (YCOT+) program provides crisis intervention and assessment, intensive case management, relapse prevention, and care coordination services to youth and families involved with the Department of Family Protective Services. This program partners with the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team and responds to crises 24/7 in schools, emergency rooms, homes, and clinics. The Youth Outreach Specialist plays a key role in providing quick, in-person responses to those in crisis and continuing transitional services for up to 90 days to each youth and family.

YCOT+ offers an interdisciplinary team of clinicians supporting youth and families during crises and months afterward to ensure stabilization and linkage to community supports. The team includes Youth Outreach Specialists, Certified Family Partners, Certified Peer Support Specialists, Therapists, and other resources. The Youth Outreach Specialist supports the completion of vital documents, benefits, and employment services as needed.
Our Mission is to improve health and independence of those served. The Youth Outreach Specialist provides timely, evidence-based crisis intervention to reduce higher-level care utilization and criminal justice system interactions.
Critical Impact
The team provides immediate crisis intervention and follow-up services. The Youth Outreach Specialist collaborates with youth and families on goals, acting as the primary contact and working with internal and external teams, including DFPS, schools, law enforcement, and healthcare providers.

Location: Williamson and Burnet Counties
Salary: $24.23 - $34.98/hr
Applicable Differentials
Additional shift differentials, crisis on-call differential, and a $200 monthly service delivery award.
