Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of New York in the Bronx seeks an Outreach Coordinator to support Beacon program outreach to youth and families, encouraging engagement with Beacon programming and school activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective outreach plan for communicating with students, parents, families, the school community and other stakeholders.
• During the summer, supervise Teen Talk and Play and recruit middle and high school youth; coordinate with Activity Specialist to maintain Community Garden and Food Pantry. Supervise SYEP participants.
• Engage hard-to-reach youth and young adults who do not participate in afterschool or community center programs.
• Identify, develop, and maintain contacts with community stakeholders to promote the program.
• Assist in the development of electronic and print outreach materials.
