Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Youth Development Director for the Norridge Citadel Corps to lead all youth ministry across infant to high school ages. You will work with YPSM(s), youth leaders, parents, and staff to fulfill the corps' mission and to grow disciples for Christ.

You will recruit and train volunteers, manage youth events, and ensure quality programming while coordinating with senior leadership and church partners.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Christian youth work may substitute for the degree.
• Valid Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead youth ministry for children from infant to high school.
• Coordinate with volunteers and staff to plan yearly calendar and programs.
• Oversee day camp, budget, transportation, and safety procedures.
• Provide pastoral care and evangelism programming for youth.
• Collaborate with corps officers on mission and outreach.
