Job summary

The Salvation Army Minot Corps is seeking a Youth Ministries Director to develop and oversee youth programming for individuals aged 0 to 29, fostering spiritual, educational, relational, and personal growth. You will plan activities, grow participation, and represent the Army in the community while supporting worship and Christian education.

The role requires Sundays and Wednesday evenings, with a commitment to seasonal events, fundraising, and fiscal oversight for youth programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in youth ministry or program coordination.
• Must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Senior Soldier in good standing preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PC-based program management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and oversee youth programming for ages 0–29.
• Participate in worship and Christian education programs.
• Increase participation and engagement in youth activities and ministry.
• Represent The Salvation Army in community events and schools.
• Ensure fiscal responsibility for youth budgets.
• Assist with seasonal events and fundraising.
