Job summary

Youth & Opportunity United, Inc. is seeking passionate individuals for the AmeriCorps Y.O.U.th Serve program for 2026-2027. Members will support youth by providing academic help, leading workshops, and engaging in community development activities. This full-time role requires a commitment of at least 30 hours per week, with a focus on fostering social and emotional growth among participants.

Benefits include a living stipend, professional development opportunities, and up to 10 days of leave. Ideal candidates should be at least 17, committed to youth development, and prepared to undergo background checks.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and/or experience working with youth aged 7 to 18.
• Valid driver's license or willingness to obtain one.
• Able to pass a Federal and State background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with academic support in afterschool programs.
• Lead workshops on social and emotional enrichment.
• Engage youth in community service projects.
