Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking caring childcare professionals for the 2026-2027 school year. Earn $16.00–$16.50 per hour while supporting learning, engagement, and safety across multiple YMCA sites in the Montgomery County area.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or are enrolled in child development coursework, plus 2+ years of childcare experience. Training will be provided, including required clearances and ongoing safety and program certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or enrollment in child development coursework.
• 2+ years verified childcare experience.
• Experience working with children (professional, volunteer, or familial).

Responsibilities

• Find new and engaging ways to help kids learn while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Implement curriculum for the program and oversee classroom staff as needed.
• Provide positive interactions and constructive feedback with children and guardians.
