Job summary

Mission Prep Healthcare, part of AMFM Healthcare, seeks Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) to support adolescents at residential facilities in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Earn $19–$23 per hour with full-time benefits and a team-focused environment.

You’ll work with clinical staff to provide safe, caring care, transport clients, and help manage medications while maintaining documentation in BestNotes. Growth opportunities available within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with coordinating client activities and collaborating with clinical staff is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and youth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport clients to daily activities safely.
• Use intervention and communication skills with clients and families daily.
• Follow Joint Commission and infection control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical team on medication management.
• Maintain residence cleanliness and hygiene.
• Engage clients in recovery activities and document in the EHR.
• Observe safety and report client behavior during daily passdowns.
• Participate in care planning with the multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct resident orientation and safety drills.
