Job summary

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions (CYFS) in Illinois is seeking a Mental Health Juvenile Justice Coordinator to assess youth at risk and connect families with needed services. Under supervision, you will apply clinical theory and skills to support youth and their families, with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centered care.

Typical duties include managing referrals, planning services, and documenting progress while working in a flexible, non-traditional schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling or Psychology, or closely related Human Service field.
• 2 years of experience in a human service position (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage MHJJ referral processes and engage referrals.
• Provide strengths-focused, trauma-informed assessment and service planning for at-risk youth.
• Provide case management and linkage to services.
• Document services according to statute, funder requirements, and agency policies.
