Job summary

Sun Prairie Area School District is seeking a Youth Apprentices for Meetings and Events support at the PLC. You will assist with event planning, room layouts, seating, catering arrival, and AV setup, while delivering a warm welcome to participants.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendor arrival, managing calendars, supporting event setup and teardown, and communicating opportunities to program participants. This role offers part-time hours and a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Meetings and events planning and support in an educational setting.
• Assist with room layouts, seating formats, and catering coordination.
• Create welcoming environment for participants at PLC.

Responsibilities

• Connect with food vendors on arrival and assist with event setup.
• Monitor calendars to ensure advance planning for upcoming events.
• Coordinate setup and tear-down of event spaces and catering tasks.
• Coordinate with program staff to inform daily/weekly job opportunities for students.
• Greet guests at Welcome Center and provide general information.
