Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
• Enrolled in at least six credit hours during fall and spring semesters
• Experience leading educational curriculum for groups of 10+ youth
• Passion for working with youth and families
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and project management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse teams and youth
• At least one-year experience with elementary/middle school youth in afterschool or camp settings
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage a pod of 15 students through social, emotional, and academic enrichment programs.
• Assist with daily lessons focusing on literacy, STEM, SEL, and healthy relationships.
• Tutor or provide homework support for youth.
• Lead daily enrichment programs in art, STEAM, and/or sports and character building.
• Build positive relationships with youth to support success and well-being.
• Support delivery of group instruction in a safe and structured environment.
• Supervise youth during program hours in a safe, developmentally appropriate manner.
• Engage parents and family members as needed to support youth.
• Maintain timely and accurate records concerning youth participation and outcomes.
• Monitor youth during field trips.
