Job summary

Zarephath seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Life Success Specialist to support youth (ages 5–17) and families in the Phoenix Valley. You will deliver life skills training, coordinate therapeutic activities, and assist with reunification efforts with DCS, emphasizing practical daily independence.

Must have 1+ year in youth-focused behavioral health, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle, and clearances.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in youth-focused behavioral health.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a valid Driver’s License and insured vehicle to transport youth.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and a negative TB test are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver life skills training using the Ansell Casey Assessment and teach daily independence.
• Plan and supervise therapeutic activities, sports, and recreational outings in local parks and venues.
• Collaborate with DCS for reunification efforts and family stability.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation.
