Traverse Area District Library is seeking a Library Page for the Youth Services area. The role supports shelving, sorting, cleaning, and organizing library materials, while maintaining accuracy and standing for long periods as needed.

The position reports to the Head of Youth Services with a 15-hour work week. Responsibilities include assisting public and staff, supporting the library’s mission, and potentially working in other departments as required.

Qualificações

• Fulfills library policies and procedures.
• Maintains accuracy in shelving and item placement.
• Communicates effectively with staff and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Load and sort book trucks for shelving.
• Inspect, clean, and repair materials as needed.
• Shelve materials in proper location and order.
• Maintain shelf order and aesthetics through reading and straightening.
• Follow cleaning protocols for public health and safety.
• May work in other departments or locations as needed.
• Perform related duties as required.
