Job summary

UrbanPromise in Camden, NJ seeks a Teen Development Program Manager to lead the StreetLeader Program with high school students, helping 12th graders plan college and career steps while guiding younger students and promoting Christian leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience with urban youth, a valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid with CDL within 6–12 months. A comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with urban youth, youth ministry, and/or social work is preferred.
• Must possess a driver's license in good standing and be comfortable driving larger vehicles; CPR and First Aid certification and CDL within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Uphold UrbanPromise values and promote safety and belonging.
• Mentor 12th-grade StreetLeaders to achieve post-high school goals, including college and scholarship applications.
• Support 9th–11th graders with academics and SAT preparation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with schools and universities to promote program outcomes.
• Coordinate transportation for StreetLeaders to events and activities.
• Serve as a Christian leader, mentor, and advocate for student needs.
• Collaborate with UP departments and partners to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Assist in life skills sessions and enrichment classes for StreetLeaders.
• Assist in planning annual trips and events and in grant reporting.
