Job summary

Harmonium Inc. in San Diego seeks a Youth Leader Sub for the PM shift to support after-school programs. This part-time role focuses on supervising youth, leading engaging activities, and helping with homework in multiple school sites around San Diego County.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has 6 months of youth program experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and can travel as needed. Starting wage is $22.25 per hour with benefits including a 403b plan and paid sick leave.

Qualifications

• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District’s Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam.
• Must have a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.
• Ability to travel throughout the county with the flexibility required to meet job duties.

We are currently looking for a part-time (PM shift) candidate to sub at a variety of school sites throughout San Diego, CA.

JOB COMPLEXITY.

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have 6 months experience in either an after school program OR group child care setting
• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District’s Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (a basic math and literacy test)
• Must have a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
• Ability to travel throughout the county with the flexibility required to meet job duties

COMPENSATION.

• Starting Rate : $22.25 per hour ( all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience )
• Benefits includes a 403b retirement plan plus match, and CA Paid Sick Leave in addition to hands-on training, virtual courses, and live presentations.
