Job summary

Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is seeking a dedicated Part-time Coach I – Youth Sports in East Orange, NJ. You will lead practice sessions, teach the assigned sport(s) to youth, and model the YMCA’s core values daily.

You will work evenings and weekends as needed, ensuring safety and positive learning environments. A passion for youth development and sports, plus ability to communicate clearly with students and parents, are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead challenging and educational practice sessions.
• Instruct group in accordance with YMCA guidelines and rules of the game.
• Uphold, model, teach and put the four core values of the YMCA into action.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relationships with students, parents and sports officials.
• Maintain professional appearance and report on time to all scheduled practices and games.
