Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide clinical assessment, treatment, case management and crisis intervention for children, adolescents and families in Intensive Home-Based Treatment. The role includes home, school, and community sessions with flexible daytime hours and two evening shifts weekly.

Must hold an Ohio license and a valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance; motor vehicle background screening is required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Ohio licensure required; must maintain required licensure and training as needed.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance; driving qualifications and training.
  • Intern-to-Hire provision allows hiring of interns pending licensure within 60 days post-graduation window.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document client presenting problems, history, symptoms, mental status and diagnosis.
  • Provide clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, case management and crisis intervention.
  • Coordinate client care with other providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete clinical charting and administrative paperwork in accordance with policy.
  • Remain current in pediatric psychopharmacology and collaborate with team psychiatrist.
