Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc in Columbus, OH is seeking a licensed clinician for an Intensive Home-Based Treatment program serving youth with mental health and substance use concerns. You will conduct clinical assessment, provide behavioral health treatment, care coordination, and crisis intervention with home, school and community visits.

Flexible days with two evenings weekly; no weekends. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Appropriate Ohio licensure is required and must be kept current.
• Intern-to-Hire provision for interns within 60 days post-graduation with trainee extension.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance as required by hospital policy.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed behavioral healthcare to youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses and documents client problems, history, symptoms, mental status and diagnosis.
• Develops specific, realistic and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
• Implements interventions aligned with empirically supported treatments and program standards.
• Coordinates client care with service providers and community resources to ensure continuity.
• Completes charting and administrative paperwork in accordance with policy.
• Keeps current in pediatric psychopharmacology and collaborates with the team psychiatrist.
