Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance seeks a Legal Coordinator to support unaccompanied youth in foster care, working with the Division of Children Services and ORR programs. The role involves coordinating with legal providers, preparing youth for hearings, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout immigration processes.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s in human services, 3+ years in child welfare or migrant services, and preference for Spanish bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate's degree required in Human Services.
• 3+ years of experience in child welfare or with migrant population.
• Spanish bilingual preferred with strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with legal providers to advocate for youth client cases.
• Develop partnerships with legal service providers.
• Coordinate with agencies and consulates to ensure accurate legal information.
• Prepare youth for hearings and manage client schedules.
