Job summary

City of St. Louis Park, MN is seeking a part-time Support Assistant to help with youth and adult ice skating programs in an indoor facility. You will attend scheduled sessions, mentor participants, and assist instructors with activities and setup for skate events.

Qualifications include experience skating on indoor ice, strong customer service and the ability to lead games. Availability Monday evenings and Saturday mornings is required; coaching or instructing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled programs consistently.
• Serve as role model and mentor for program participants.
• Assist instructors with setting up/breaking down games.
• Help set up skate school signs and name tags.
• Assist tots or small children with first time ice experiences.
• Participate in and occasionally lead games.
• Perform special duties as assigned including running music and helping with skating shows.
