Job summary

Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn and Manhattan seeks a Housing Program Coordinator to manage administrative systems, support program logistics, and strengthen communication within the Housing team.

This role acts as the central liaison between staff and leadership, ensuring timely, accurate information and proactive problem solving to improve resident outcomes.

You will coordinate meetings, onboarding, calendars, and reporting to keep operations smooth across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing administrative, operational, programmatic or coordination support in a residential housing, non-profit or social services environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and administrative systems simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate information clearly and professionally across multiple levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain & organize client charts, log books, incident report binders, and program documentation.
• Track & manage OMNY cards, petty cash & check requests.
• Support data entry and reporting needs.
• Support Director of Housing Programs with calendar management & scheduling.
• Support scheduling of groups and activities.
• Assist with intake preparation & orientation logistics.
• Help coordinate training and meetings.
• Provide shift coverage as needed.
• Serve as a communication liaison between program staff and housing leadership.
