Job summary

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency in Detroit seeks the Youth Homelessness Systems Improvement (YHSI) Manager to lead HUD-funded regional planning transforming youth homelessness response across two Continuums of Care. You will coordinate and manage project goals, budgets, and staff, with a focus on equity and youth voice.

The role requires developing plans, engaging stakeholders, reporting to funders, and ensuring data-informed decisions, with a collaborative, inclusive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of related field experience.
• Knowledge of Wayne County demographics and homelessness needs.
• Ability to collect and evaluate data and address service gaps; HMIS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for the YHSI.
• Coordinate steering committee and workgroups toward project objectives.
• Build relationships with Youth Advisory Board and stakeholders.
• Plan meetings, workshops, and training sessions with partners.
• Prepare progress reports for funders and stakeholders.
