Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment's Colorado Avalanche Youth Hockey Development team is hiring a Youth Development Team Member in Denver. This part-time, non-exempt role supports the Youth Hockey Development program with on-ice and off-ice activities, events, and community outreach.

Ideal candidates have skating/hockey experience, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. The team emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a passion for growing youth hockey in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Strong youth sports background.
• Skating/hockey experience necessary.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule – days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Youth Hockey Development Team in all initiatives and events.
• Provide game night assistance including Mini Avs and youth initiatives.
• Support special events such as tournaments and fundraisers.
• Maintain knowledge of Colorado Youth Hockey community and rink locations.
• Handle on-ice and off-ice instruction and event execution.
